Position Description:

At PIMCO, Product Strategists ("Strategists") are investment professionals that specialize in a strategy area or market sector and recognized internally and externally as experts in this area. Strategists partner with the portfolio management teams in the same strategy areas and use their strategy-specific expertise in two key ways.

PIMCO is seeking a Product Strategist to have primary responsibility focused on the firm's multi-asset/asset allocation business globally. This product area has roughly $45 billion in client assets under management, featuring a mix of public mutual funds and bespoke institutional client portfolio, for a global client base. Included therein are several notable mutual funds, including the PIMCO All Asset Fund, which is a real-return oriented tactical asset allocation strategy managed in partnership with Rob Arnott and his firm Research Affiliates, and the PIMCO Global Core Asset Allocation Fund, which is the firm's flagship core allocation strategy. As such, the Strategies will gain exposure to different portfolio construction approaches and be responsible for distilling the features and benefits of each.
