CONTENT MANAGER / CONTENT LEAD-FINANCIAL SERVICES (INVESTMENT INDUSTRY)

£60-70,000 (dependant on experience)+bonus,bens

Based-City, London-hybrid working

Excellent opportunity to join a high growth, international financial services business operating within the investments space. My client is looking for an experienced Content management professional to lead the content management / content writing for the marketing team

To own, build and deliver a compelling multi-channel, multi-format content calendar to raise the organisation's brand awareness and support demand generation activity across all key service lines.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work with the Marketing heads to develop and implement a global omnichannel content strategy across the organisation
  • Create, edit, curate and promote high-quality, multi-channel content and copy (eg for sales collateral, web content, content for webinars and events, social media) drawing on internal and external creative and technical resources where appropriate
  • Have oversight and management of the organisation's thought leadership programme including content production by working closely with both internal and external subject matter experts to produce an active and varied content calendar
  • Support the roll out of a new website by producing high quality copy and content that meets the needs of key stakeholders and support the ongoing copy upload, production and editing processes to ensure web content is optimised for SEO purposes and lead conversion
  • Work with internal teams and agencies to create and manage PR opportunities for the business
  • Create and implement best practice processes for social media planning and tracking
  • Support the Head of Communications to produce staff engagement and employee brand content for use internally, and promote the organisation as an employer brand externally
  • Assist with the implementation and localisation of global marketing campaigns
  • Use keyword research from the organisation's digital teams and agencies to build a content plan to improve organic rankings against agreed keywords and optimise content according to SEO principles.


Experience required
  • Excellent experience in a content management /content writing/content marketing role gained in the Financial Services and/or Investment sector or Professional Services sector
  • Excellent writing skills are essential
  • Experience developing content across different channels- including the web, social media, email and in print
  • Experience producing thought leadership content
  • Creative mindset with an understanding of how to communicate visually and bring ideas to life in a variety of mediums
  • Project coordination: managing multiple stakeholders and activities to a deadline
  • Strong understanding of marketing analytical tools and hands-on experience of using marketing systems such as CRM, CMS, Google Analytics, marketing automation and email software to measure the performance of the content plan and optimise accordingly
  • Knowledge of optimising content for SEO
  • Design and print management experience, an advantage
