Position Description:

PIMCO is seeking an outstanding writer to create simple, compelling content that engages our internal and external audiences. As part of PIMCO's Brand and Client Experience Team, you will apply vivid storytelling skills and digital fluency to a range of initiatives and programs, including HR and Recruiting, Inclusion and Diversity, Purpose at PIMCO, as well as Corporate campaigns, like our popular Women and Investing platform. Activities will range from one-off projects to coordinated campaigns using multiple communication channels. You will work closely with digital teams, designers and project stakeholders across our global organization, always demonstrating our core values of collaboration, openness, responsibility and excellence. This position is located in our Newport Beach, CA office.

  • Write and edit compelling content that communicates corporate priorities to internal and external audiences across a variety of media, including video, UX copy, emails, social media, brochures and flyers.
  • Contribute ideas to help make content relevant, accessible and actionable
  • Collaborate effectively with marketing colleagues and key business partners
  • Adhere to established style guides and brand standards
  • Proofread and edit copy from draft through release

Position Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role with comparable responsibilities (financial services experience is a +)
  • A proven track record of producing content that increases engagement
  • Adept at digital marketing, including email marketing, social media, etc.
  • Ability to juggle multiple assignments, meet tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver on assigned responsibilities with commitment to quality and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the Adobe platform

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or related field
