Desired Qualifications
- Receive, review, and update corporate actions notifications and corporate actions logs for both Fixed Income and Equity products.
- Complete the corporate action process from initial notification until custodian reconciliation.
- Responsible for monitoring all voluntary and mandatory corporate actions, including but not limited to exchanges, consents, tenders, puts, calls, stock splits, mergers, spin-offs, and conversions.
- Review, understand, and confirm corporate action details with custodians and offering agents.
- Interface with Operations, Client Services, and Portfolio Management groups across TCW.
- Coordinate Portfolio Management responses on all voluntary corporate events with custodians and trustees.
- Ensure accurate processing of all corporate actions on internal systems and ensure accurate postings for trading and Portfolio Management reporting.
- Reconcile the effect of corporate actions on internal systems and custodian records.
- Maintain Corporate Action databases efficiently and timely.
- Work with Information Technology and vendors to continuously enhance internal systems and processes.
- Support SOC 1 (formerly SAS 70) requirements for the Operations Team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
- Basic understanding of domestic and global fixed income and equity securities/instruments
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience performing similar corporate actions duties for a buy/sell side asset manager
- Knowledge of global fixed income and equity securities
- Knowledge of taxable and non-taxable transaction processing
- Experience using Bloomberg
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and trading
