FIXED INCOME STRATEGIST AND PORTFOLIO MANAGER – ATLANTA

Edge Capital Group, LLC is currently seeking a highly motivated individual with demonstrated experience in fixed income strategy/allocation, short-duration fixed income portfolio management, and fixed income manager due diligence. You will work with senior financial advisors and portfolio managers to implement short-term fixed income mandates for high net worth and institutional clients, including all aspects of trading, reporting, and reconciliation. In addition, you will lead all manager due diligence efforts on both public and private market funds in the fixed income universe. You will also contribute to the firm’s fixed income strategy and positioning through research insights and market commentary.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Management of separately managed, short-duration, investment-grade fixed income portfolios, for Edge’s high net worth and institutional clients
• Monitor cash levels and maturities in portfolios for redeployment
• Handle trade execution, allocation, and settlement of bond holdings
• Prepare investment review materials for client meetings
• Collaborate with Edge’s operation team on reporting to clients and accountants
• Provide due diligence on the fixed income funds on Edge’s approved fund roster
• Lead due diligence efforts on fixed income private market funds
• Provide timely commentary and investible insights on fixed income markets to portfolio managers
• Contribute to Edge’s quarterly Market Outlook
• Respond to Senior Financial Advisors regarding specific client/prospect requests for fixed income analysis
• Work independently and manage significant projects from start to finish

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year College or University
• Prior experience as a fixed income strategist
• Prior experience as a fixed income portfolio manager (or equivalent role)
• CFA strongly preferred
• Desire to develop professionally through industry designations or other courses of study

COMPUTER SKILLS:

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Advanced experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• Comfort with the adoption and use of technology tools
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, Morningstar, Factset
• Comfort utilizing reporting systems, Black Diamond and ClearWater Analytics
