Who we are looking for
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the enterprise-wide Windows, VMWare, Citrix and Security Systems in a fast-paced trading and settlements environment. They will function as a senior subject matter expert for all related system hardware planning and installation for all business locations. Provide strategic leadership and support for these disciplines to senior management and staff globally. Ensures all service deliverables are in line with business and IT goals. Manage development, enhancement, and execution of company policies and standards across areas of support. Responsible for budgeting, maintaining cost controls, managing staff and leveraging global vendor relationships to drive service excellence.

What you will be responsible for
  • Work independently to develop, test, and debug software enhancements and solutions within the Must be an excellent communicator and have experience interfacing directly with external clients.
  • Strong technical background in Windows, Virtual technologies, Security and or Citrix environments.
  • Nutanix and Netscaler experience preferred
  • Able to identify and articulate technical risk associated with change
  • Working knowledge of lifecycle management, application development and or Linux
  • Develops and implements global plan of organization and staffing. Hiring, performance reviews, mentoring, training and establishing direction and priorities for staff.
  • Increasing levels of experience within enterprise level delivery for platform support.
  • Prioritize and execute according to approved and negotiated timelines.
  • Provide oversight and leadership support for all hardware, and systems software planning and installation activities including equipment configuration, installations, process improvements, environment preparation, and production support. Provide oversight to ensure release level interoperability with dependent software and hardware
  • Provide consultative leadership and support to development teams and client organizations for all hardware, and systems software planning activities.
  • Responsible for recommendation of technology refreshes and budget forecasting. Timely delivery of hardware quotes, maintenance quotes and new product evaluations.
  • Drive the improvement and consistency of standards that meet corporate established best practices
  • Build our automation capabilities and metric reporting
  • Manage relationships with related technology vendors in the assessment, negotiation, and procurement of related hardware and software globally
  • Proven track record advancing security posture through monitoring, configuration, and standardized solutions. Established technical expertise in improved automation through scripting to extend service offerings and ensure consistency.
  • Responsible for stability, availability and security of systems worldwide 7x24.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years Open Systems hardware and software planning and support experience.
  • At least 5 years management experience.
  • Vendor management experience required.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Systems Software knowledge.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with multiple levels of management and employees in a fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrated decision making, presentation, problem solving, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated risk evaluation skills.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple organizations to reach common goals.

Salary Range:
$130,000 - $212,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
