Job Title: Investment Analyst
Job Description:
The main function of this role is to serve as support to a few Portfolio Managers. The individual will be responsible for a variety of research and portfolio management activities. The individual will need to be a high-energy, highly-efficient professional with the ability to perform at times under pressure. The associate will be part of small team with a high level of responsibility in contributing to the future growth of the firm. CFA candidates are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Support the firm’s team of Portfolio Managers across various initiatives as directed Prepare marketing and reporting materials for prospective and existing clients Regularly review client accounts to ensure alignment with client objectives and goals Prepare analysis reports and financial planning for client households and Retirement Accounts Conduct investment and research analysis across asset classes for portfolio managers
Experience / Qualifications:
- 0–1 year of work experience in finance, registered investment firm, or consulting Bright, mature, and motivated with the desire to excel in a competitive environment Passionate about investment management and a desire to make a career in the industry Strong analytical and organizational skills Ability to work well within a team and on a self-directed basis General level of financial knowledge (financial modeling, macroeconomics, accounting, current events, etc.)
Requirements:
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong communication, presentation, and sales skills Strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and ethical standards
