ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Channel Marketing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will drive the Marketing strategy for our Institutional business and sit within our Client Marketing team. You will collaborate with our Client Facing, Campaigns, Content, Creative, Events, and Digital team members. You will also develop and implement multi-year marketing strategies to support our growth in the market.

The position can be based in Newport Beach, Austin TX, or New York, NY, and reports to the SVP, Client Marketing CM Americas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Create, develop, and launch high-impact, integrated marketing strategies using all marketing platforms, including paid media, digital, multimedia, events, and sponsorships, which impact the institutional client experience, as well as the measurement of ROI on these activities
  • Build thematic and solutions-based channel plans for each of the four institutional areas-Corporate, Consultant Relations, Public and Non-profit / Single Family Offices
  • Package and promote investment products, insights, and themes across multiple asset classes and channels
  • Build positive and productive relationships with the Institutional client-facing team to facilitate communication, proactively find opportunities and challenges, and partner on marketing efforts
  • Lead campaigns for the institutional client segments, sometimes leveraging broader global campaign plans, ensuring relevance for the audience, and improving client engagement across each stage of the life cycle
  • Develop and carry out events strategy, both proprietary and third-party, in collaboration with the client events team
  • Leverage PIMCO's data analytics to compile, analyze, and present to business partners, including suggestions on how to move forward based on these metrics
  • Foster a strong partnership with legal and compliance to ensure our strategy and all materials produced are in line with regulations
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
  • 8-10 years' experience in an intermediary, institutional, or channel marketing in the asset management industry required
  • Prior people management experience preferred
  • Alternatives experience highly desirable
PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.

Salary Range: $ 150,000.00 - $ 185,000.00
