In this role, you will:
- Manage commercial relationship managers who manage credit-based loan products, traditional banking services such as cash management, custodial and transfer agent services
- Originate credit related products, treasury management products, investment banking and capital markets products
- Coordinate credit review and loan products
- Work with more experienced management in developing annual business plans and directing the group in execution of these plans
- Participate in the completion of major transactions
- Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives
- Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
- Lead team to achieve objectives
- Partner with existing customers in order to fully understand their businesses, goals, strategies and challenges
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Commercial Relationship Management
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Commercial Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of Leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of commercial or corporate: lending, loan servicing, products, credit practices, and credit analysis
- Strong C & I credit / lending experience
- Experience with Commercial Real Estate lending
- Commercial banking sales experience
- Ability to motivate others to greater performance
- Strong collaboration and partnering skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Job Expectations:
- Ability to travel as needed up to 50% of the time
