Trader Fixed Income

Investment firm seeks a junior level trader with 2-5 years experience within corporates investment grade.  Market hours. Contact at revi (at) wallstreetpersonnel (dot) com.

The Trader will be responsible for the trading of investment grade corporate bonds on behalf of a diverse base of client investment vehicles. 

• Trade investment grade corporate bonds 
  • Ensure best execution and fair allocation on each trade
  • Ensure compliance with all portfolio guidelines
  • Allocate and ticket all trades
  • Maintain records for each trade
  • Work with settlement team on unresolved trade issues
• Track and manage daily cash positions across all investment grade corporate accounts
• Track and manage investment grade primary calendar
  • Maintain and distribute new issue details and updates
  • Manage new issue orders and allocations
• Provide updates to credit team on market news and trends
• Monitor key positions for price movements and trading activity
• Maintain and enrich relationships with sell side counter parties
• Undertake ad-hoc projects as necessary
• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 3 years of investment grade trading experience
• Credit training is a plus
• Outstanding initiative and a strong work ethic
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• CFA progress a big plus
